Annual Giving, Burns Supper, Merchandise, November Elections, and More!
As we approach the end of another year, we reflect on the tremendous support we have received from our generous donors like you. Your contributions have made it possible for the Saint Andrew's Society of Maine to fulfill its mission of promoting Scottish culture through scholarships, events, and educational programs.
We are thrilled to announce that next year we will be hosting the Scottish Heavy Athletics Men’s World Championship for the very first time in Maine. This prestigious event will bring athletes and enthusiasts from around the world to our beautiful state, shining a spotlight on our rich heritage. It will be held in conjunction with our annual Maine Highland Games and Scottish Festival™, a celebration that continues to be a highlight for so many in the Scottish and local communities.
Everything we do, from awarding scholarships for the Scottish arts to organizing these events, relies on the hard work of volunteers and the generous financial support of donors like you. Your contribution helps us preserve Scottish traditions for future generations, foster cultural education, and provide opportunities for young people to immerse themselves in their heritage.
As we plan for this exciting year ahead, we kindly ask for your support. Your donation—whether large or small—will go directly towards ensuring that the 2025 Maine Highland Games and Scottish Festival™ and World Championship event is a resounding success. It will also help us continue funding scholarships for students dedicated to the Scottish arts. Every donation is tax-deductible, as the Saint Andrew's Society of Maine is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
You can make a secure donation by visiting https://www.mainehighlandgames.org/donate or by mailing a check to our post office box at PO Box 128, Brunswick, ME 04011-0128.
Thank you again for your past generosity. We hope you will join us in making 2025 an unforgettable year for the Scottish community in Maine. With your help, we will continue to honor our heritage and create meaningful experiences for generations to come.
Warm regards,
Jimmy Rodden
