The mission of the Saint Andrew’s Society of Maine is the Preservation and Promotion of Scottish Culture and Heritage through Education, Outreach, Scholarship and Performance. We are a registered Maine 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
While we are best known for our annual Maine Highland Games & Scottish Festival, we host many events throughout the year; an annual Robert Burns Dinner, Tartan Day Celebrations, and our annual Scottish Military Tattoo.
Proceeds from our events fund our Scholarship Program, which provides sponsorships for students to further their skills in traditional Scottish arts; piping, drumming, textiles, dancing, language and historical and cultural education. This Society can only function with you, the member or prospective member.
