About Us

The mission of the St. Andrew’s Society of Maine is the Preservation and Promotion of Scottish Culture and Heritage through Education, Outreach, Scholarship and Performance. We are a registered Maine Not For Profit Organization.

While we are best known for our Annual Maine Highland Games, we host many events throughout the year; an annual Robert Burns Dinner, Tartan Day Celebrations, our annual Scottish Military Tattoo, and the annual St. Andrew’s Day Dinner.

Proceeds from our events fund our Scholarship Program, which provides sponsorships for students to further their skills in traditional Scottish arts; piping, drumming, textiles, dancing, language and historical and cultural education.
